Join us on Saturday August 23rd, from 9am to 2pm for the Ranchlands Community Cleanup!
Thanks to the City of Calgary, we will have garbage trucks on site, plus our fantastic partners The Salvation Army will be there to collect gently used household items, clothing, plus electronics recycling and even metal recycling!
Free to attend, but donations to the Ranchlands Food Pantry greatly accepted!
What is permitted:
Garbage trucks can accept:
- Broken/soiled furniture
- Bagged trash
- renovation debris (ex. Toilets, small amounts of lumber, etc)

Salvation Army can accept:
- small appliances
- clothing
- TV’s (any size)
- Electronics (good working order AND broken items for recycling!)
- Metal Recycling
The Ranchlands Food Pantry can accept:
- non-perishable food items such as canned or boxed items
- unopened toiletries
- diapers (opened is fine but please note the size if its not on the diapers)
Please do NOT bring:
- propane tanks or other compressed gas canisters
- Batteries, fuel cans, vehicle oil, paint, chemicals
- Large appliances
- sod or dirt
- Large donatable items (furniture, exercise equipment, etc)
