The RFP is a community initiative that went from an idea to a passion project over night. The goal of the initiative is to help create easier access to food for those in the community who may need some support. Together we can make Ranchlands even stronger!

The RFP is only in the pilot stages and thus may grow and change as we go along so stay tuned for updates! Currently we will schedule drop off days for donations and days where people can come ‘shop’. This is due to the need to limit traffic in the hall as we work to keep all those who rent/use our facilities safe.

Please bring your donations to the Community Center Parking Lot. Where we will have a couple volunteers and tables set up to accept donations. Even a single can of something helps!

At this time we are only looking for non-perishables, or dry house hold goods such as the following;

Note before each donation day we post a list of our most needed goods on Facebook so check over there to see what is in demand.

 Canned Fruit & Vegetables
 Pasta & Canned Pasta Sauces
 Peanut Butter (or other nut butters)
 Canned Fish/Chicken
 School Snacks (Granola Bars, Dried Fruits etc)
 Baby Food & Infant Formula
 Toiletries, Cleaning Supplies, and Diapers.

Please DO NOT bring anything expired (or expiring soon – within two weeks), anything open, homemade, or bulging cans/damaged packaging.

The RCA is also working on ways to accept monetary donations in the future, if this is something you would be interested in please contact the hall at

As our office has now re-opened, food pantry pickups can be accommodated as required so if you are in need, please contact the office.
This is subject to change due to ongoing COVID-19 protocols.
