What is the Community Clean Up?
Just what it sounds like! We will be getting together a LIMITED NUMBER of people (due to social distancing) and cleaning (picking up trash) a pre-selected area of the community!
With more of us home and using are parks more regularly then ever before they need a little extra love this year!
The RCA will be providing masks, gloves, garbage bags and hand sanitizer for before and after use.
From there we will head to the areas that are being cleaning and get started!
Event starts at 11:30AM sharp!
Participants MUST claim a spot in the FB event as we cannot have more than what is allowed by both City and Provincial guidelines. We ask that if you did not snag a spot in time that you DO NOT show up the day of. We hate to turn volunteers away but we do have limit attendance (if it becomes possible for us to open more slots we will).
Masks & Gloves must be worn at the event. The RCA will provide both, but you are welcome to bring your own mask. If this requirement changes we will let you know. Thank you for understanding.
Children are welcome to help (you must register them as well) but they must be able to wear a mask and understand social distancing. The gloves we have on site will be medium and large thus you will need to provide gloves for them or insure they can wear medium WITHOUT removing them during the event.
